It has been well over 150 years since gold was first discovered in Bendigo, but gold fever continues to strike our visitors and school holidays are no exception!

Mine Experience Tour:

Don a hard hat and miner's lamp, descend 61 metres underground and explore the honeycomb of tunnels where almost one tonne of gold was discovered.
Children must be at least three years of age to descend underground.

Underground Adventure Tour:

Gear up in overalls, boots, miner's hat and lamp to descend 85 metres underground. Climb ladders, work a mine drill and search for gold with finder's keepers! Each tour also includes lunch served underground in the Crib Room. Children must be at least eight years of age to complete this tour.

Times: 11:00am and 2:00pm daily (bookings recommended)
