Have you ever thought about becoming a volunteer at Central Deborah Gold Mine?
Volunteering at Central Deborah is both fun and rewarding! Our volunteers are an integral part of the Central Deborah experience and help us out in all aspects of our work. If you have some spare time and would like to lend a hand, no matter what your skill, give us a call because we may have a job for you!
Neil Murray, fondly known as “Snowy” currently volunteers his time at Central Deborah Gold Mine.
"My role at the mine is called underground theatre.
I work with the tour guides to give our visitors a taste of the kind of personalities that used to work at this mine back in the 1930s and ‘40s.
They were really down to earth characters that worked hard under some pretty tough conditions, which is why it is important to relay to visitors the significance of the role they played in making Bendigo the success it is today."
