Welcome Bendigo's Central Deborah Gold Mine is a well known tourist attraction that offers the unique experience of exploring a real gold mine on one of the underground mine tours. Whether it's touring the surface of the mine with its treasure trove of vintage mining machinery, gold panning for riches or taking one of the spectacular underground mine tours, visitors will never forget a stop at Central Deborah. Sixty metres underground , don a hard hat and miners lamp and walk in the footsteps of miners who discovered almost one tonne of the world's most precious metal on the Mine Experience Tour. For the more daring , brave a thrilling two and a half hour adventure tour climbing ladders, working mine drills and searching the quartz pieces for gold on the Underground Adventure Tour.

Monday 9 th March 2009 (Labour Day) The devastation of the current Victorian bushfires has left few unaffected.  In response to our nation's greatest ever natural disaster Central Deborah Gold Mine in conjunction with some of Victoria 's top tourism attractions united on Labour Day, Monday 9 March, for the Victorian Tourism Attractions Bushfire Appeal Fundraiser. Central Deborah Gold Mine donated all Mine Experience Tour general admission takings for the day to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund.
